The Egyptian Canning Company is specialized in processing and packing fruit-based drinks, jams, tomato paste and concentrates.
ECC was first established as a small family business in 1979. Now ECC is a joint stock company that has gained a share of almost one-third of Egypt’s domestic juice market and a growing share in several regional and international markets.
Since the 1920 the family of the Company produced high quality fruits through a careful selection process of fruit-tree varieties and attentive care. The well cared-for family-owned land still provides quality ingredients that are used in its industry. Furthermore, the abundant fruit markets surrounding the location of ECC provide the advantage of selecting the freshest fruits and the best flavors.
Remains of packaging material are stored and then recycled through sale to recycling establishments. Wastewater, as well as solid waste from the juice, are treated well enough to be recycled into the irrigation of the family-owned land.
